Texas Rangers Release Bold City Connect Nike Air Max Sneakers

The Texas Rangers have released a new City Connect collection, including Nike Air Max 1 shoes, featuring an all-red design with 'Viva Tejas' on the heels, honoring the region's Hispanic heritage. The shoes launched on June 17 and are available at retailers like Fanatics and DICK'S Sporting Goods. Travis Dillon, Rangers senior vice president of marketing, stated that the team has worked hard to build an authentic relationship with their Hispanic fans. The 'Tejas' design mirrors the San Diego Padres 2026 City Connect collection and features a papel picado sleeve patch. The red color is a throwback to previous Rangers uniforms and has ties to Mexican culture, coming from cochineal red, a crimson dye historically significant in Mexican culture. The Texas Rangers will wear these red 'Tejas' jerseys for every Friday home game, starting with their upcoming schedule, which includes key dates like the MLB Mexico Series and the All-Star Break. Corey Seager will be one of the players wearing the new jerseys, and fans can purchase tickets for the 2026 MLB season, including the postseason and World Series. The new City Connect collection is a great way for fans to show their support for the team and their Hispanic heritage. The Texas Rangers are excited to offer this new collection, and fans can shop the limited-edition Nike Air Max 1 sneakers at Fanatics and DICK'S Sporting Goods, or check StockX for resell prices.
