The red color is a throwback to previous Rangers uniforms and has ties to Mexican culture, coming from cochineal red, a crimson dye historically significant in Mexican culture. The Texas Rangers will wear these red 'Tejas' jerseys for every Friday home game, starting with their upcoming schedule, which includes key dates like the MLB Mexico Series and the All-Star Break. Corey Seager will be one of the players wearing the new jerseys, and fans can purchase tickets for the 2026 MLB season, including the postseason and World Series.
